Jordan: Slight temporary rise in temperatures at the end of the week ahead of pleasant summer conditions

WASM- The Kingdom is expected to be affected by a pleasant air mass that is cool, especially in high mountains at night, during the coming week, accompanied by humidity and clouds with moderate activity of westerly winds. This is expected to last for several days, but it will be preceded by a temporary and slight rise in temperature at the end of the current week.

Temporary rise in temperature at the end of the current week|
Temperatures will rise on Friday and Saturday, exceeding seasonal averages by about 2-3 degrees Celsius, recording around 32-34 degrees Celsius during the day in the capital and surrounding mountains (depending on the altitude and location of the area), while remaining moderately mild at night, recording around 21 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, conditions will remain typically hot and summery in valleys and lowlands, recording around 38-40 degrees Celsius during the day.

Pleasant air mass next week|
Temperatures will gradually drop during the beginning of next week as a pleasant air mass deepens its effect, resulting in a "noticeable" decrease in temperatures to be several degrees below seasonal averages, recording in the twenties during the day in the capital and mountains and around 15 degrees Celsius at night, with an increase in humidity and the appearance of low clouds.

The pleasant air mass is expected to persist for several days, gradually retreating during the beginning of July, while the Kingdom and the region remain free from heat waves during the coming period.

The Kingdom is still experiencing a "shy" summer with the end of the first third of the summer season|
With the end of the first third of the summer season, the beginning of this year's summer remains shy, with pleasant conditions dominating most of the previous days over the Kingdom's atmosphere. It is expected that this moderate trend will continue until mid-July before warm air masses begin to approach later at the end of July, which does not mean the occurrence of heat waves.
