WASM – The eastern Mediterranean region, including the Kingdom and Palestine, will be affected by a slightly cold air mass on Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing autumn-like weather with a tendency toward coolness coinciding with cloud accumulation and rain showers in parts of western Jordan. These showers will be more pronounced in northern Jordan and parts of the central regions.
Temperatures will be below seasonal averages by approximately 6-8 degrees Celsius compared to this time of year, with a noticeable cold sensation in the mountains and plains, but it will have a moderate impact in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Chances of rain showers|
Scattered rain showers will fall in parts of western Jordan on Tuesday, particularly in the northern and central regions of the country, and intensification of these showers for short periods in parts of northern Jordan cannot be ruled out. The weather condition is not expected to be classified as a major weather system or significant rainy condition, and these weather patterns precede the rainy season, which is expected to begin at the end of this month according to the climate model data from WASM Regional Center.
