Jordan | Slightly cold weather over the weekend calls for light winter clothing at night

Amman – Temperatures will drop noticeably on Friday, with weather conditions becoming moderate in most areas, but preceded by a slight temporary rise in temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday.

Temperatures will reach around 33°C in the capital Amman on Wednesday and Thursday, with hot conditions during midday and afternoon hours and moderate conditions for most of the time. Hot weather will continue in Aqaba, the Dead Sea, and the low-lying areas.

Temperatures will drop noticeably on Friday as the Kingdom is affected by moderate temperature winds pushing from eastern Europe and across the eastern Mediterranean Sea. Therefore, the weather will become moderate in most areas and slightly cold in the mountains and plains during the night and early morning. The maximum temperature in the capital Amman is expected to reach around 27°C and the minimum 16°C and lower in high mountains, which requires wearing light winter clothing at night.

Weather from Friday to Sunday will be partly cloudy and foggy in high mountains and plains areas during the early morning, with moderate conditions expected to continue until mid-next week, followed by new temperature fluctuations.
