Unstable weather conditions will resume from Sunday evening through the middle of next week, concentrating in the north and center of the Kingdom specifically, resulting in a significant drop in temperatures and thunderstorm rain showers in some areas that are occasionally heavy.
High indicators of a low-pressure system and a sharp cold wave mid-month and beyond|
We are monitoring the possibility of a low-pressure system formation, the first of this rainy season, around mid-month, followed by an early cold wave that will likely be dry.
As a result of the continued unstable weather conditions at higher than seasonal averages compared to previous years, the WSAM Regional Center recommends continuous monitoring of Jordanian meteorological warnings and instructions from civil defense and public security.
The WSAM Regional Center classifies weather conditions within color levels. The yellow level indicates typical or more limited impact and only requires following official bulletins and caution. The orange level indicates sharp and possibly strong impact (the impact is similar to the previous condition), and red indicates a dangerous level that requires taking direct measures for expected weather conditions.
