WASM – Heavy thunderstorms will continue occasionally over the eastern desert regions of Jordan tonight and Wednesday morning, with partly cloudy skies in the rest of the regions and limited, weak rainfall showers.
Weather will stabilize Wednesday during the daytime over the eastern desert regions and remain stable in the rest of the regions. Unstable weather conditions are expected to resume starting Friday evening and Saturday, but across various regions and with greater intensity over eastern Jordan again.
Cold air masses are moving towards the eastern Mediterranean basin, coinciding with an extension of the Red Sea low from the east and southeast, which leads to the formation of thunderstorm clouds in some regions, particularly in the eastern parts of the kingdom.
WASM expects stable conditions during the coming week, with rainy and cold weather conditions gradually beginning to affect the region after December 10-12. All details will be issued progressively.
