Jordan | Strong Heat Wave Recedes Monday with Moderate Weather Expected Tuesday

WASM- High humidity and heat conditions continue on Sunday, as the strong and exhausting heat wave, which was characterized by elevated temperatures and high humidity, begins to gradually recede on Monday starting from the mountainous areas and then the rest of the kingdom's regions, becoming completely absent from most areas of the kingdom during the evening and night period of Monday.

Moderate weather will prevail from Tuesday until Friday, especially in the mountainous areas, while it will be slightly cold during night hours and early morning with the appearance of low clouds and fog formation in the mountains during the early morning period.

The high humidity levels that began since Wednesday evening and continuously until Saturday caused the real feel of temperatures to rise to around 42-44 degrees Celsius in wide areas, with actual temperatures recorded at around 38-40 in the capital and mountains, which reflects severe exhaustion and the annoying sensation of the heat wave that intensified in recent days, contrary to what was circulated in many media outlets.

Temperatures will rise slightly and temporarily at the end of the new week, followed by a sharp drop and a feeling of autumn conditions, especially with the approach of cold air masses from the Mediterranean region around the mid-month period.
