Jordan | Strong winds by the end of the week and a winter storm beginning next Monday

WASM – The Kingdom is expected to be affected by a winter storm accompanied by large amounts of precipitation and strong winds starting next Monday and continuing through the second week of February, with expectations of increased chances of snow in mountainous areas during early February.

In detail, weather conditions will deteriorate at the end of the week with winds becoming strong and increasing cloud cover along with rainfall showers, with sharp fluctuations in temperatures between highs and lows.

The winter storm affecting the Kingdom begins from Monday, preceded by heavy thunderstorms at times on the night of Sunday/Monday, and weather from Monday through the end of next week will be stormy and rainy with heavy precipitation and severe cold, with increased chances of snow in high mountains during the middle of next week.

Chances of snow in mountainous areas are expected to increase during the end of next week, and details will be issued progressively as the time period approaches.
