Jordan.. Summer conditions continue until Wednesday, with a heat wave expected at the end of the week

WASM – Normal summer conditions are expected until Wednesday, with maximum temperatures in Amman reaching around 31 degrees Celsius. The atmosphere will remain extremely hot in low-lying areas, the Jordan Valley, Aqaba, and the Dead Sea.

Starting from Thursday, hot and dry winds coming from the Arabian Peninsula are expected to influence the region, causing the beginning of a heat wave that will result in a significant rise in temperatures, exceeding 37-38 degrees Celsius in Amman and continuing until at least the beginning of next week.

It is expected that next month, July, will witness fluctuating atmospheric conditions in terms of temperatures, with several moderately warm days expected to tend toward coolness in mountainous areas at night, and the occurrence of several hot days concentrated at the beginning of the month and also at the end of the month. WASM will issue more details about the expected weather conditions during the coming month.
