WASM – Temperatures will rise compared to previous days, with typical summer conditions expected. The maximum temperature in the capital Amman will be around 33 degrees Celsius, but this will be accompanied by "high" humidity, and in some areas, particularly in the northern regions, it will become "very high".
The high humidity levels will result in temperatures feeling significantly and noticeably higher than recorded values, which will cause a feeling of exhaustion during midday and afternoon hours and excessive sweating.
WASM recommends staying away from direct sunlight and increasing beverage consumption due to increased fluid loss as a result of the expected high humidity levels in the atmosphere.
Summer conditions are expected to continue for several days, with temperatures anticipated to rise further during the beginning of August, when temperatures typically register their highest levels during this period of the year.
