Jordan | Temperature decline tomorrow Sunday with moderate weather mid and late week

WASM- Temperatures will drop slightly tomorrow, Sunday, and heat will remain at typical summer levels, recording around 31°C during the day and 21°C at night in the capital and surrounding mountains with active northwest winds.

Another temperature drop is expected during mid-week due to a moderate summer wave that is expected to affect the country, with its impact intensifying during the weekend. Temperatures will be in the twenties in the capital and mountains to the early thirties Celsius in lower-altitude areas.

Seasonal heat on Sunday and Monday|
Heat will drop slightly on Sunday and Monday but will remain within seasonal summer averages, around 31-32°C in the capital and mountains during the day. Weather will be moderate most of the time, especially in the mountains, and hot during midday and afternoon hours, especially in low-lying areas, the Jordan Valley, Aqaba, and the Dead Sea.

Moderate conditions begin on Tuesday and increase by the end of the week|
Temperatures will drop further on Tuesday due to the country being affected by a moderate summer wave whose impact will increase by the end of the week. Temperatures are expected to fall below seasonal averages by around 3°C during the moderate summer wave period and will be in the late twenties Celsius in the capital and mountains.

Monitoring a noticeable temperature rise after July 20|
Temperatures are expected to rise noticeably after this date compared to the previous period (possibly for the first time this summer). Temperatures are expected to exceed seasonal averages but for a short period, with expectations of a quick return to moderation during the last week of the current month.

Heat waves continue across Europe and expand to polar regions|
Rarely, strong consecutive heat waves are expected to continue across Europe over the coming weeks and will strongly affect northern Europe and Scandinavian islands through the Arctic region. Recent heat waves in Europe have caused 2,300 deaths in 12 European cities.

The ongoing heat waves in Europe are occurring as a result of strong climate changes affecting the world resulting from sharp changes in jet streams in the upper atmosphere caused by marine heat waves dominating most of the world's oceans, coinciding with sharp fluctuations in temperatures in tropical ocean regions, especially the Atlantic Ocean.
