WASM - Temperatures will drop tomorrow evening on Sunday and during Monday daytime and will return to below their seasonal averages, with pleasant summer weather and slightly cool conditions during the night and morning.
Temperature drops will intensify during the Eid holiday period, with temperatures falling below seasonal averages by around 3 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in the capital and mountainous areas will reach around 28 degrees Celsius, while the minimum will approach 17 degrees Celsius but will be lower in high mountains, with the appearance of low clouds.
Winds will be westerly with moderate to gentle speeds, generally pleasant, with moderate to high humidity levels during early morning hours, which will enhance the pleasant weather sensation especially during the Eid holiday.
WASM advises wearing summer clothing during the Eid period while being careful of slight cool weather during the night and morning in the capital and high mountains, especially for children and the elderly.
The reason for the impact of this shy summer is the continued surge of air masses that are less hot from northern Europe toward the region, which is expected to cause continued chances of rain at scattered intervals during the summer in an unprecedented manner in recent climate records.
The WASM Regional Center expects a moderate and pleasantly warm summer for most of its days, with expectations of temperature increases later as we approach the end of summer but for a short period and sharply coinciding with the continuation of scattered rainy conditions.
