WASM- It is expected that temperatures will rise noticeably on Thursday and Friday, reaching around 35-37 degrees Celsius in the capital and mountains, which is about 3-4 degrees Celsius above their seasonal averages. Therefore, the weather is expected to be hot during the day and moderate at night, and extremely hot in low-lying and desert areas.
Temperatures will drop during the coming week to return to their normal seasonal averages, with activity of northwestern winds and strong gusts at times during the evening and night periods.
This period is considered the peak of summer when the highest temperatures of the year are recorded, which averages around 34 degrees Celsius in the capital Amman at an altitude of 750 meters.
WASM advises avoiding direct sunlight and increasing fluid intake, and adjusting air conditioning devices to 22-24 degrees Celsius to avoid stress on the electrical sector.
