The temperature will rise on Tuesday to around 36 degrees Celsius in the capital Amman, coinciding with the continuation of high humidity levels, and toward the end of the week, high temperatures are expected to continue but humidity levels will decrease.
The temperature will drop noticeably in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea during the coming week to around 42 degrees Celsius with a rise in humidity levels, and it will reach around 39 degrees Celsius in desert areas, Zarqa, and low-lying areas, and around 32 degrees Celsius in high mountainous areas.
It is recommended to stay away from direct sunlight, wear light-colored light clothing, increase fluid intake, avoid leaving sterilizing materials inside vehicles, and also avoid running air conditioning systems at temperatures below 22-24 degrees Celsius.
A long-lasting heat wave is affecting the Mediterranean region, and this wave is affecting the Kingdom and the Levant. Hot winds are expected to push through the southeast Mediterranean toward the Kingdom during the coming week, which will cause a noticeable increase in humidity levels, as the hot winds during the previous days were pushing from northern Egypt and northern Saudi Arabia, which were characterized by very high temperatures and dry weather, especially in the Jordan Valley.
