Jordan | Temporary rise in temperatures on Thursday and Friday with thunderstorms in desert areas

WASM- Temperatures will rise temporarily on Thursday and Friday, exceeding their seasonal averages by approximately 3-4 degrees Celsius, with the capital and surrounding mountains recording around 35-37 degrees Celsius during daytime hours, while weather will be moderate during the night but with higher temperatures compared to previous nights.

Tomorrow, Wednesday's weather will be typical summer weather, moderate for most of the time and hot during midday and afternoon periods, with maximum temperatures in the capital and mountains around 33-35 degrees Celsius.

Weather on Thursday and Friday will be generally hot and extremely hot in low-lying and desert areas, moderate during night hours and early morning.

Temperatures will gradually decrease during Saturday with the activity of northwestern winds that form strong gusts at times, stirring dust in desert areas, and a mild temperature air mass is moving toward the kingdom at the beginning of next week.

Limited thunderstorms are expected to fall in the southeastern regions of the kingdom, which include parts of Ma'an and east of the Wadi Rum area and the southeastern borders of the kingdom away from major cities, coinciding with the activity of winds that stir dust and sand during Thursday and Friday, where OASM issues a yellow alert level for those areas due to weather instability.
