Jordan | Temporary rise in temperatures Thursday and Friday

WASM – Temperatures will rise temporarily on Thursday and Friday, reaching approximately 34-35 degrees Celsius in Amman, then will decrease next Saturday.

Moderate weather conditions will prevail over the kingdom most of the time, especially in the mountains until Wednesday, with northwesterly winds blowing. The atmosphere will tend to be slightly cold in the mountains on the mornings of Monday and Tuesday, with humidity levels rising and scattered clouds appearing.

Temperatures will rise slightly in the afternoon and evening of Wednesday, but will remain within the typical summer averages for this time of year. The weather will become hot in general on Thursday and slightly cooler on Friday, then temperatures will drop on Saturday and during the beginning of next week, with the temperature rise being temporary and for a short period, especially on Thursday.

The kingdom was affected by a moderate heat wave during the past week, with temperatures recorded around 36 degrees Celsius in Amman and severe in the Jordan Valley and the Gulf of Aqaba, where temperatures approached 48 degrees Celsius.
