Temperature records tomorrow Wednesday will reach around 40 degrees Celsius in wide areas of the kingdom with hot southerly winds blowing, and humidity levels will rise during the afternoon and evening, increasing the exhausting feeling of hot weather.
Temperatures will drop slightly on Thursday with hot conditions remaining across all regions, and the heat wave is expected to recede starting from the high mountains in the late hours of Friday dawn.
Weather is expected to become moderate on Saturday and throughout most days of the coming week, with temperatures dropping below 30 degrees Celsius in the capital Amman for the first time in over two months, following a long and exhausting summer characterized by the intensity and succession of heat waves affecting the kingdom.
WASM advises avoiding direct sunlight and increasing fluid intake, not leaving sterilization materials inside vehicles, and recommends adjusting air conditioning systems to operate at temperatures between 22-24 degrees Celsius to avoid pressure on the electrical sector.
