Jordan | The heat wave recedes Monday and renews Tuesday with extreme heat at the end of the week

WASM- The intensity of the heat wave will ease tomorrow, Monday, then intensify on Tuesday and become "strong" at the end of the week, with temperatures reaching forty-degree levels in wide areas including the capital Amman, and this heat wave will continue until the beginning of September.

Tomorrow, Monday, the weather will be hot and high humidity, with temperatures in the capital Amman around 34 degrees Celsius, but the high humidity rate increases the feeling of higher temperatures than recorded. It is expected that the actual feeling of temperatures will reach approximately 38 degrees Celsius in the capital Amman, Irbid, Mafraq, and parts of Ajloun and Jerash, and the weather is expected to moderate at night, especially in high mountains.

Starting from Tuesday, the heat wave intensifies and temperatures rise to approximately 36 degrees Celsius in the capital Amman, and around 43 degrees Celsius in the Jordan Valley, Aqaba, the Dead Sea, and low-lying areas. The heat wave increases in strength on Wednesday and during the end of the week, with temperatures registering at forty-degree levels.

The capital Amman recorded 39 degrees Celsius on Saturday, and reached 40 degrees Celsius in some neighborhoods of the capital. The intensity of the heat wave declined slightly on Sunday, but this coincided with "high" humidity levels that caused the feeling of higher temperatures than recorded.

WASM recommends following the instructions of the Jordanian Meteorology Department, consuming more cold fluids, avoiding direct sunlight, and not leaving sterilizing materials inside the car.
