WASM – Thunderstorms expected tomorrow Saturday over different regions of Jordan, especially mountainous areas and desert regions of the Kingdom, resulting from the presence of a cold air mass in the upper and middle atmosphere coinciding with increased humidity levels.
In detail, the weather condition will gradually begin during the early morning hours, intensifying during the morning and afternoon, resulting in thunderclouds with rainfall showers expected in different regions of the Kingdom, particularly in the mountains. Winds will be variable in direction, easterly in the eastern regions of the Kingdom but variable in the mountains and westerly to southwesterly in the Jordan Valley.
Hail showers are expected to accompany the thunderstorm rainfall, as well as wind activity during some periods. WASM will issue a yellow alert level due to the severity of weather conditions.
Weather will stabilize on Sunday remaining cold with clouds appearing at different altitudes. Thunderstorm rainfall is expected to resume on Tuesday and Wednesday over various regions due to expected similar weather conditions.
