TAG- The Kingdom will continue to be affected by unstable weather conditions and scattered thunderstorms with rain showers in various areas that will sometimes be heavy and irregular, with expectations of intensified thunderstorms tomorrow, Tuesday, during the evening and night until Wednesday morning, especially in the Eastern Badia.
In detail, the Kingdom will remain affected by scattered thunderclouds and rain showers until tomorrow Tuesday during the day. With evening and night hours on Tuesday, a cold air front is expected to advance, accompanied by a low-pressure system positioned near the southeast of Cyprus, leading to thunderstorm showers in various areas that will sometimes be heavy, and severe rainfall in the Eastern Badia causing flash flood formation.
The impact of the cold front will increase as it deepens into the middle and upper atmospheric layers during the dawn and morning of Wednesday, especially in the northern and central Kingdom, with sometimes heavy thunderstorm rainfall.
Temperatures will drop noticeably and significantly on Wednesday with scattered rainfall and cloud formation touching high mountains, with this rainfall sometimes being heavy.
Weather will begin to stabilize gradually from Thursday afternoon, with cold and humid weather and sometimes foggy conditions, especially in the eastern plains and mountains, with light rainfall.
On the other hand, weather stability is expected at the beginning of next week with a noticeable and significant rise in temperatures and the impact of a warm autumn weather pattern for a short period, followed by successive cold low-pressure systems accompanied by large quantities of rainfall at the end of the month.
TAG issues an orange alert level beginning from Tuesday evening until Wednesday evening for the northern and central Kingdom, reaching the red level in the Eastern Badia due to heavy rainfall during Tuesday evening and the Tuesday/Wednesday night, with a recommendation to be fully prepared for floods and flash floods in the Eastern Badia on Tuesday evening, including Al-Ruwaished, Al-Safawi, Al-Karama Center, and east of the Azraq region.
