Jordan | Tropical wave retreats Friday with mild autumn-like conditions beginning Saturday

Temperatures will drop significantly and noticeably on Friday, and the exhausting tropical wave affecting the Kingdom will recede. The country is expected to be affected by moderate, nearly autumn-like weather starting from Saturday and for several days that may continue until September, which could be an indicator of an early and gradual end to the summer season.

The exhausting tropical wave will continue on Wednesday and Thursday amid expectations of a rare or unprecedented state of atmospheric instability in various regions of the Kingdom, concentrated over the southern and eastern parts of the country.

Expected temperatures in the capital during Wednesday and Thursday will range between 39 degrees Celsius in its western highlands to 43 degrees Celsius in some eastern and central areas, coinciding with a significant rise in humidity levels during the afternoon, evening, and into the early hours of the night.

Expected temperatures in the Jordan Valley, Aqaba, the Dead Sea, and desert areas will range between 44-47 degrees Celsius or around these exhausting and hot levels with occasionally high humidity expected.

- Atmospheric instability continues on Wednesday and Thursday|
Atmospheric instability resulting from the exhausting, high-humidity tropical wave will continue until Thursday and is concentrated in the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom, extending to various parts of the country with risks of local flash floods and dense dust waves expected in various areas of the Kingdom during this weather condition.

Temperatures will begin to noticeably decrease on Friday, and the exhausting tropical wave will gradually recede starting from the west of the Kingdom and then other areas during the evening and night.

The moderate wave will begin to affect the Kingdom on Saturday, and the atmosphere will become nearly autumn-like with temperatures at levels in the twenties during the day in the mountains and the capital and around 16-17 degrees Celsius at night and in the morning with low clouds present.
