WASM – It is expected that temperatures will rise during the Eid period to their normal seasonal levels and somewhat later compared to previous years, recording around 30°C in the capital and mountains during the day and less than that in high mountains, while dropping at night to 17-18°C, with the weather becoming slightly cool after midnight in the mountains.
Temperatures will be typical hot summer levels during the day in low-lying areas, valleys, plains, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, recording around 37°C during the day and 22°C at night, with weather conditions suitable for all outdoor activities while being cautious of direct sun rays at noon in all areas due to the elevated level of UV radiation intensity being typical at this time of year.
It is expected that temperatures will drop slightly during the next week to become slightly below their seasonal average with a slight feeling of coolness in high mountains during the evening and night periods.
It is expected that the kingdom will remain away from heat waves during the coming weeks with temperatures remaining around their seasonal averages to slightly below, with expectations of some short hot periods before the influence of mild air masses.
