Jordan | Unstable Weather During Eid Al-Fitr Holiday with High Chances of Rain Towards the End of the Break

WASM - Eid weather is expected to be "unstable" In general, alternating between cold and warm with rain and occasional wind activity, as a result of a rainy weather system approaching the Kingdom. The weather on the first and second days of Eid will be stable but unstable in terms of temperatures between cold and warm, and heavily variable and rainy on the third and fourth days of Eid..

Weather on the first days of Eid "cold" ..( Friday)..
The weather on the first days of Eid will be cold and partly cloudy with occasional wind activity. The maximum temperature in the capital and mountains will reach around 18 degrees Celsius and the minimum around 7-8 degrees only, so it is necessary to wear warm clothing and avoid summer clothes. Light rain is expected in the early morning hours.

Weather on the second day of Eid "warm" ..
The weather on the second day of Eid will be warm but generally cloudy in most areas, and light rain showers are not ruled out at the end of the second day, coinciding with the beginning of wind activity.

Weather on the third and fourth days of Eid "highly unstable and rainy at times"..
The weather on the third and fourth days of Eid is expected to be highly unstable coinciding with a noticeable drop in temperatures and increased chances of thunderstorms in different regions of the Kingdom, especially on the fourth day of the Eid holiday, which falls on Monday (24-4-2023).

In scientific details, a cold air mass is stationed coinciding with the presence of a low pressure system over Turkish lands and the eastern Mediterranean region, which causes weather fluctuations over the Kingdom's atmosphere during the Eid holiday.

WASM recommends completely avoiding summer clothes, and wearing light winter or spring clothes while being careful of temperature drops in mountainous areas during night and morning hours and rapid temperature fluctuations. For low-lying areas, valleys, and Aqaba, summer clothes can be worn but with spring clothes during night and morning.

It is also recommended to be cautious of sudden weather fluctuations on the third and fourth days of Eid where chances of heavy and sudden thunderstorms increase in different areas and chances of sudden floods increase with them, coinciding with wind activity and its intensity in some areas.
