WASM - Temperatures will continue to rise over the coming days, approaching 30 degrees Celsius in Amman city, while the atmosphere will tend to be cool during night hours and early morning with light scattered clouds appearing.
Jordan will be affected during the beginning of next week by high temperatures approaching 34 degrees Celsius in Amman city with the presence of medium and high clouds, as a result of the country being affected by hot winds rushing from the Arabian Peninsula region due to the influence of a low-pressure system called the "Khamsin low," but temperatures will quickly drop mid-next week to generally warm spring levels.
Thunderstorms are expected to increase in the desert areas of Jordan on Friday with light rain falling in scattered areas coinciding with very warm weather which tends to be hot during the noon period.
WASM monitors the increasing chances of thunderstorms during the end of April - Nisan - coinciding with the continuation of moderate, warm, and sometimes hot weather.
