The Kingdom is expected to be affected by a low-pressure system with rainy and cold weather on Wednesday and strong winds with occasional gusts, with temperatures fluctuating between significant rises and significant drops. The temperature difference is expected to reach about 12 degrees Celsius between Tuesday daytime and Wednesday daytime.
Weather conditions on Monday and Tuesday daytime are expected to be generally warm, with temperatures dropping noticeably on Tuesday evening and the night of Tuesday/Wednesday, and scattered rain showers are expected in the northern and central regions of the Kingdom.
Weather on Wednesday will be cold and rainy over the northern and central regions extending to the southern regions coinciding with active winds and occasional strong gusts. The maximum temperature on Wednesday in Amman is expected to reach around 13 degrees Celsius compared to 25 degrees Celsius on Tuesday daytime.
Weather conditions will stabilize on Thursday with light rainfall continuing and fog formation in wide areas of the Kingdom during the morning period. The peak of cold weather is expected on the night of Thursday/Friday with temperatures dropping below 5 degrees Celsius in high mountains and desert areas.
We advise caution from sharp weather fluctuations and large temperature variations between the beginning and middle of the week, as well as rainfall. A warm start to the week is expected, followed by cold to very cold conditions in the middle and end of this week with rainfall.
A yellow alert level is being issued for the expected weather conditions from Tuesday night until Wednesday night due to rainfall, cold weather, and active winds.
Rain is expected to resume during the coming week, especially at its beginning and also at the end of the week, with expectations of successive rainy and cold weather conditions.
