WASM - Weather will become colder on Tuesday and Wednesday in conjunction with increasing cloud cover and scattered rainfall with occasional wind activity, with temperatures dropping to around 12 degrees Celsius at night in the mountainous areas of the capital Amman.
Colder and more humid winds are expected to move towards the Kingdom across the Mediterranean Sea, and rainfall will occur in various parts of the Kingdom, especially in the mountainous and northern regions of the country. The rainfall will be light in intensity and sometimes moderate in intensity for short periods. The yellow alert level will be issued for weather conditions on Tuesday and Wednesday starting from Monday night/Tuesday.
Temperatures will rise slightly on Thursday and Friday but with the continued presence of cold air mass in the upper and middle layers of the atmosphere, which causes cumulus cloud formation in some areas and renewed rainfall and occasional wind activity.
WASM also monitors the continuation of weather fluctuations at the beginning of next week, intensification of these fluctuations and intensification of autumn rainy conditions during the last week of this month with an expected "significant" drop in temperatures making the atmosphere closer to winter conditions, and these conditions are coming earlier than usual.
