WASM- The Kingdom will be affected during the hours of tonight and tomorrow, Wednesday, by a low-pressure system bringing rainy and cold conditions with active winds occasionally reaching gusts of up to 60 km/h.
Temperatures are expected to drop significantly tonight with scattered rainfall in the north and center of the Kingdom due to a cold air front crossing the country. The impact of the low-pressure system will intensify tomorrow with the accompanying cold and humid air mass, bringing scattered rainfall to northern and central Jordan extending to southern regions in the evening and night.
Scattered rainfall will continue until Thursday morning, with the low-pressure system's impact lasting approximately 24-32 hours, making it a typical winter low-pressure system. WASM has issued a yellow alert level for weather conditions starting from tonight until Thursday dawn.
Weather will stabilize temporarily on Friday and Saturday, with rainfall expected to resume on Sunday and Monday, particularly in the north of the Kingdom and parts of central regions. WASM Regional Center is monitoring the continuation of these successive rainy weather conditions during the first half of December.
WASM Regional Center recommends following the warnings of the Jordanian Meteorology Department and adhering to Civil Defense guidance, while paying attention to the large temperature differences between Tuesday and tomorrow Wednesday, which will exceed 12 degrees Celsius.
