Tagging – The heat wave will intensify tomorrow, Monday, and reach its peak strength across various regions, with temperatures registering in the forties across wide areas of Jordan.
It is expected that the temperature in the capital, Amman, will reach around 40 degrees Celsius tomorrow, Monday, and around 45 degrees Celsius in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba regions.
The strong heat wave is expected to gradually recede on Tuesday, the first day of Eid, especially during evening and night hours. The weather will become more moderate on the second and third days of Eid and during the end of the week, with temperatures dropping noticeably and significantly.
Heat waves are considered natural phenomena; however, in recent years, there has been an observed increase in their frequency, intensity, and continuous recurrence during the summer season.
