TAG- The Kingdom is expected to be affected by cold and rainy weather with heavy precipitation tonight and tomorrow Monday, occurring as snow showers on the peaks of high mountains above 1100 meters occasionally, coinciding with strong winds and extremely cold weather.

Starting from Monday evening, the weather will gradually stabilize amid extremely cold conditions, and will remain stable until Tuesday, due to the formation of a strong winter storm over the eastern Mediterranean expected to move directly towards the Kingdom on Wednesday.

A strong storm begins Wednesday..
The impact of this strong storm will begin Wednesday afternoon in the form of severe rain in wide areas and heavy accumulated snow above 900 meters, and gradually this storm will intensify during Wednesday evening and through Thursday, with the snow level dropping to 700 meters and below occasionally, with expectations of heavy accumulations in areas exceeding 850 meters covering wide areas of the capital Amman, while precipitation will be irregular and intermittent in the southern mountains during Wednesday evening.

The storm continues through Thursday..
Weather on Thursday will be extremely cold, stormy and snowy in many mountainous areas, and snow is expected to continue until Friday but in high elevations amid continued heavy rain in low-lying areas.

Winter storms and atmospheric depressions are expected to continue throughout the rest of the winter season bringing massive amounts of precipitation, which will result in many northern and central areas recording their seasonal rainfall "in full" early.
