WASM- The Kingdom is affected by another Khamsin low-pressure system tonight, which will cause temperatures to rise to around 22-23°C tonight and an increase in dust levels with dense amounts of medium and high clouds and gradual wind activity. This is an extension of the unstable Khamsin conditions the Kingdom has been experiencing since last Friday.
Temperatures will drop tomorrow, Friday, during the evening and night to only 7-8°C with scattered light rain showers in various areas of the Kingdom. Dust will also completely disappear from the atmosphere, humidity levels will increase, and low clouds will appear.
It is expected that the Kingdom will be affected by a cold and humid wave in the middle of next week, which will cause a significant drop in temperatures, becoming generally cold. The minimum temperature is expected to reach around 5°C only in the capital Amman. As noted, the Kingdom is still experiencing weather fluctuations and not a continuous rise in temperatures, so caution must be exercised regarding these fluctuations and light winter clothing should continue to be worn.
Scattered rainfall is expected to coincide with the cold and humid wave in the middle of next week. WASM Regional Center is monitoring "strong" weather fluctuations after mid-month resulting in severe temperature variations and heavy rainfall.
