Alert – The Kingdom will be affected by an extremely cold air mass accompanied by a low-pressure system centered southeast of Cyprus (slow-moving), beginning Thursday night and continuing until the end of next week at least, accompanied by heavy precipitation, very cold conditions, and accumulated snow on the high southern mountains.

In detail, the impact of the extremely cold air mass begins Thursday night in the form of thunderstorm showers and hail in the north and center of the Kingdom, with the possibility of occasional heavy showers.

Friday's weather will be cold and partly cloudy with rain showers in the north and center of the Kingdom, and starting from evening hours, the rain becomes heavy and continuous in the north of the Kingdom, especially in Irbid and Mafraq and parts of Ajloun.

Heavy rain continues in the north of the Kingdom on Saturday, extending intermittently and in the form of rain showers toward the central regions.

The impact of the low-pressure system deepens on Sunday and Monday with heavy rain falling in the western parts of the Kingdom, extending on Monday to various regions, with accumulated and dense snow falling in the high southern mountains of the Kingdom.

The Alert issues a yellow alert level for weather conditions starting Thursday evening, rising to orange in the north of the Kingdom Friday evening and Saturday due to heavy precipitation.
