Jordan | Weather Alert: Significant Rise in Temperatures at Week's End

WASM – Temperatures will rise significantly starting Thursday and for several days as a result of Jordan being affected by hot winds coming from desert areas. The weather will be hot in various regions of the kingdom, including mountainous areas, and temperatures in the capital Amman are expected to reach 37 degrees Celsius.

Typical summer conditions will continue in the coming days with the maximum temperature in the capital around 33 degrees Celsius, which is around its average for this time of year.

Hot conditions are expected to continue, beginning at the end of the week for 5 days, after which they will subside during the Eid period and temperatures will drop. It is worth noting that heat waves are typical during the months of July and August.
