WASM - The Kingdom will be affected by unstable weather conditions on Saturday and Sunday, with strong gusty winds that stir up dust expected to be dense in desert and remote areas, coinciding with the formation of thunderstorms and rainfall in various regions of the Kingdom.
Eastern winds will begin to intensify on Friday and gradually increase during the night to become strong and dust-raising, with clouds appearing at different altitudes.
Starting from Saturday, the Kingdom will be affected by atmospheric instability resulting in thunderstorm showers during the day, starting from the south and east of the Kingdom including the Aqaba region and surrounding areas. These thunderstorms will gradually extend to other regions during the night and morning of Sunday. WASM issues a yellow alert level starting from Saturday due to strong winds, occasional rainfall, and dust density during certain periods.
Heavy rainfall is not ruled out in limited areas of the Kingdom, particularly parts of the eastern Badiya, specifically in the regions of Al-Jafr, Al-Azraq, and As-Safawi, which may cause water accumulation during the evening hours of Saturday.
