The Kingdom is affected by a Khamsin low-pressure system that brings dusty conditions with high intensity to wide areas of the Kingdom and strong winds with gusts reaching speeds of 70 km/hour and a noticeable rise in temperature on Monday reaching 32-33°C in the capital, then dropping significantly to 6-7°C on the night of Tuesday/Wednesday with rainfall showers.
These strong weather disturbances gradually subside on Wednesday and temperatures drop noticeably with cold and partly cloudy conditions and light scattered rainfall occurs.
The temperature difference between Monday and Tuesday reaches more than 25°C coinciding with strong winds and dense dust and rainfall showers that are occasionally thundery.
It is expected that the Kingdom will be affected later during the end of the current week and the beginning of next week with unstable conditions that continue for several days bringing thundery rainfall to many areas.
