TAG- The Kingdom is affected by unstable weather conditions and heavy thunderstorms and rain showers tomorrow, Tuesday, in various regions, coinciding with active winds and thunderstorms in some areas, particularly in the southern and eastern regions and the Dead Sea basin.
In detail, a low pressure system is approaching via northern Egypt tomorrow, Tuesday, accompanied by a cold and humid air mass, causing an increase in cumulus clouds in various regions, beginning from the southern parts of the country, including the Aqaba region, extending to various areas after Tuesday afternoon and during Tuesday evening hours.
The rainfall will be heavy in some areas, particularly in the southern and eastern regions and parts of the Dead Sea basin area, causing the formation of flash floods and transported floods.
The weather stabilizes on Wednesday and during the end of the week, while remaining cold and partly cloudy at times, with rainfall expected to resume from the beginning and middle of next week with increasingly cold weather.
TAG issues an orange alert level for weather conditions, particularly over the south and east of the Kingdom and parts of the Dead Sea basin.
The Kingdom has been affected by successive heavy rainy conditions since the beginning of the autumn season, resulting in large quantities of rainfall in many regions reaching double their seasonal average compared to this time of year, after the Kingdom experienced a strong and cold rainy season during the previous year, and many regions of the Middle East are witnessing a significant increase in rainfall rates in recent years due to climate change.
