In detail, the Kingdom will be affected by a sharp extension of the Red Sea low-pressure system at the surface starting Thursday, which is a thermal low-pressure system that causes high temperatures and dry conditions, coinciding with the surge of large quantities of clouds at medium and high altitudes.
Thunderstorm cumulus clouds will increase on Friday over various regions of the Kingdom including the capital Amman and its surroundings as well as major cities, and scattered light-intensity rainfall will fall in general to moderate-intensity rainfall occasionally coinciding with active winds and dust stirring, especially in desert areas.
Wind direction will be variable between southerly and westerly, and will be particularly active with the passage of thunderstorm clouds and scattered rainfall, as winds also stir dust especially in desert areas which leads to a decrease in horizontal visibility range.

The reason for the weather condition is due to the extension of the Red Sea low-pressure system at the surface which is accompanied by a warm and unstable air mass, coinciding with the passage of a cooler air mass in the middle and upper layers of the atmosphere, which causes weather instability and the formation of thunderstorm cumulus clouds.
The expected weather conditions are similar to what occurs in autumn, which is an unusual and rare occurrence compared to this time of year and are new weather conditions that have not previously affected the Kingdom at this time of year.
