WASM - The WASM Regional Center issues the monthly weather bulletin for February 2022 through a climate model developed by WASM and the only one of its kind in the Arab region, which is characterized by "high" accuracy. This model was distinguished by monitoring storms, snow waves, and rainfall during January and the strength of the current rainy season.
The outputs of WASM's climate model indicate the continuation of storms and weather depressions throughout February and until the first week of March, with expected snow in some periods and the occurrence of polar waves, especially after mid-February and during its end. The second half of February is expected to be stronger than the first half, especially from the period of February 10-11 until the beginning of March.
For the detailed expected weather conditions during February and according to their intensity by colors starting with green, then yellow, then orange, and the strongest is red.
From 3 to 7 of the month .. weather depression and heavy rain with snow showers on and off (orange color).
From 10 to 13 of the month.. polar wave and heavy precipitation and increased chances of snowfall (red color).
From 15 to 21 of the month.. strong polar wave and consecutive depressions with chances of snow in the mountains especially at the end of this period (red color).
From 23-25 of the month.. weather depression and heavy precipitation (orange color).
From 27 of the month until the beginning of March.. strong polar wave and heavy rain and snow on the mountains (red color).
