Jordan.. Weather stability tomorrow Friday with warm and stable conditions at the beginning and middle of next week

WASM – Weather will stabilize tomorrow, Friday, with temperatures rising noticeably, becoming sunny and warm during the day and cold at night, with highs in the capital and mountains around 20-21 degrees Celsius.

Heat will continue to rise on Saturday and Sunday, peaking on Monday, with temperatures approaching the mid-twenties in the capital and mountains coinciding with the impact of a short autumn warm wave, and easterly winds will become active at times on Sunday coinciding with the appearance of high and medium clouds.

Temperatures will drop slightly in the middle of next week while warm autumn conditions remain dominant, and gradually towards the end of the week a depression will approach the kingdom heralding successive atmospheric depressions starting at the end of November accompanied by large amounts of rainfall and a noticeable drop in temperatures and an early start to winter conditions.

Warm waves during autumn are considered typical and result from the control of a strong atmospheric high over the region and kingdom. These warm waves can be long-lasting and persist for more than two weeks in some years as occurred in November 2019.

WASM advises continuing to wear winter clothes throughout next week even if the weather is warm during the day, due to the rapid drop in temperature during the evening and night and the thermal difference between day and night, which is what typically characterizes autumn warm waves.

On the other hand, WASM's climate model achieved "great" accuracy in its monthly bulletin for November 2022 exceeding 80-85% again through the first half of November following great success in October, and was able to identify all rainy weather conditions and temperatures, and was also able to detect the expected warm wave over the coming days. The model predicts intensification of rainy conditions at the end of the month especially in the north and center of the kingdom, and predicts a cold and heavily rainy winter.
