WASM- Temperature drops will continue tonight and until Friday, with weather turning cold in mountainous areas and temperatures dropping to 14 degrees Celsius during nighttime and early morning hours in the highlands of the capital Amman.
Cold northwesterly winds will be active and light scattered clouds will appear, with temperatures beginning to rise gradually during the afternoon and evening hours of Friday, with weather turning warm in the afternoon period.
Temperatures will rise noticeably and temporarily on Saturday with clouds appearing at different altitudes and active dry southerly winds, with temperatures reaching 33-34 degrees Celsius in Amman city. The dry southerly winds will contribute to pushing locust swarms towards parts of central and northern Jordan on Saturday.
Temperatures will drop at the beginning of next week and the Kingdom is expected to be affected by moderate spring-like conditions in general and cold during evening, night, and morning periods in many areas for most days of next week.
