WASM - Warm spring conditions will return from Saturday through Monday, with temperatures rising to around 22-23 degrees Celsius in Amman city on Monday, accompanied by clouds at various altitudes.
Starting from Tuesday, active and humid westerly winds will surge, laden with low-lying clouds and scattered light rainfall, particularly over northern and central Jordan, with a noticeable drop in temperatures. These weather conditions will continue until the end of the week, with temperatures dropping significantly during nighttime hours and cold weather prevailing.
In scientific detail, the Kingdom is being affected by the leading edge of a weak low-pressure system positioned northeast of Egypt, acquiring some khamsin characteristics, causing warm winds to be pushed toward the Kingdom coinciding with the appearance of clouds at various altitudes. Cold westerly winds with high humidity will surge across the Mediterranean Sea toward the Kingdom, making the weather generally cold starting from Tuesday, with scattered light rainfall occurring intermittently.
WASM is tracking "sharp" weather fluctuations during the last 10 days of March, with temperatures varying and heavy precipitation falling across various regions.
WASM advises caution regarding sharp temperature fluctuations in the coming periods due to the transitional period being experienced during the end of winter and the beginning of spring.
