WASM – Temperatures will rise tomorrow, Sunday, and the weather will be hot during midday hours and moderate during night hours, turning cold in high mountainous areas. Further temperature increases are expected on Tuesday, with the weather becoming generally hot but for a short and temporary period, before temperatures drop again on Wednesday and through the end of the week.
A hot and dry air mass is expected to move toward Jordan, coming from the Sahara Desert region and North Africa, starting from Monday evening and intensifying during Tuesday daytime, coinciding with the activity of hot and dry southwesterly winds. Temperatures will drop noticeably Tuesday evening and the weather will turn cool. The weather will be generally moderate starting from Wednesday through the end of the week as the Kingdom is affected by a moderately warm air mass, but it will become cold during night hours.
Temperatures will rise on Tuesday to reach 35 degrees Celsius in Amman city, but will drop significantly on Wednesday, reaching 24 degrees Celsius, and the weather will remain moderate for several more days.
