Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.. Rainy weather conditions expected across wide areas in the coming days

WASM – Widespread areas in northern and western Saudi Arabia are expected to be affected by rainy weather conditions extending toward Kuwait as a result of unstable atmospheric conditions caused by the advancement of a cold air mass from Siberian regions toward the north of the Arabian Peninsula, coinciding with the presence of a warm and humid air mass over the Arabian Peninsula region.

The weather condition is expected to begin in Arar, northern Al-Jouf, Turaif, Jordan, and extending toward Rafha, Hail, and northern Al-Qassim tomorrow, Sunday, and will continue over Mecca and its surroundings and the Baha highlands with heavy rainfall in some areas. The weather condition is expected to intensify mid-week in those areas, extending toward Kuwait, Hafar Al-Batin, and Al-Khafji by the end of the week with heavy rainfall.

Mecca Al-Mukarramah..
Thunderstorms will continue over the Holy Capital and Mecca coasts, particularly in Al-Lith and areas south of it, extending moderately toward Jeddah and Rabigh with thunderstorm showers falling. The alert level is yellow in those areas and rises to orange in the southern areas of Mecca, Baha, and Al-Lith coasts.

Hail, Arar, northern Al-Qassim, and east of Medina region..
The weather condition will include scattered thunderstorm showers during this week in those areas with moderate intensity coinciding with active winds, and heavy rainfall locally in a limited manner in some areas is not ruled out.

Rafha, Kuwait, and Hafar Al-Batin..
Heavy rainfall will affect Rafha, Kuwait, and extending toward southern Iraq, particularly by the end of the week, and the alert level is expected to reach orange, especially on Thursday and Friday. Scattered rainfall showers are expected to fall during mid-week, God willing.

WASM expects rainy weather conditions to continue and recur during the coming weeks over many regions with an expected intensification of their impact.
