Weather instability increases progressively this month, especially over northern and northwestern Saudi Arabia, indicating an early start to the autumn “Wasmi” weather systems, which will intensify significantly by mid‑next month and become more widespread and stronger.
The Levant
The Levant continues to be affected by a rare, quasi‑winter low‑pressure system, bringing heavy rainfall to northwest Syria and Lebanon. Mountain temperatures will be around 21–22°C during the day and 12°C at night, which is 5–7°C below seasonal averages, with noticeable chill at night and early morning.
Rain showers are expected in parts of Jordan and Palestine, generally light.

Scattered clouds appear at varying altitudes, with generally light rain showers. Weather instability continues next week, especially mid‑week.
Syria
Syria is affected by a rainy low‑pressure system, with heavy rainfall especially in the northwest and northern regions, and high flash‑flood risk on Thursday and Friday. Rain showers extend to various areas amid cold, quasi‑winter nighttime conditions.
Weather systems and instability continue this month and intensify progressively, especially mid‑month, becoming more widespread and stronger.
Palestine
Autumnal weather with generally mild temperatures, cold nights in mountainous areas, and rain showers in various regions, especially coastal areas. Weather instability continues next week, particularly mid‑week.

Rainy weather systems continue next week and throughout the current month, intensifying progressively.
Iraq
Generally hot weather, with a noticeable temperature drop by the end of the week as autumn air masses begin to influence the region. Temperatures fall below 40°C in many areas during the day, with mild to cool nighttime conditions in some regions.
Weather instability is expected to begin with thunderstorm showers in parts of western Iraq, intensifying around mid‑month.
