Saudi Arabia, the Arabian Gulf, and the Arabian Peninsula
Weather remains hot across most regions, tending toward cooler conditions late at night in northern areas. Humidity levels remain high and uncomfortable along the coastal regions of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait. Clouds appear at times, with dusty winds affecting open areas in Riyadh and the Eastern Province.
Thunderstorms are expected over the highlands of Asir, Jazan, Al‑Baha, and Taif, extending into parts of the Makkah region, including limited areas of the Holy Capital. Thunderclouds may also extend toward the highlands of Madinah and parts of western Hail.
Temperatures drop below 40°C by mid and late week across many Gulf and Saudi regions for the first time since the end of summer, signaling the onset of early autumn influences.
Weather fluctuations intensify toward the end of the month and become stronger next month, especially over northern Saudi Arabia, marking an early start to the “Wasmi” autumn rainy season this year from northwestern Saudi Arabia. These systems are expected to strengthen progressively throughout next month.
The Levant
Autumn winds deepen noticeably by mid and late week, starting Monday. Temperatures in the mountains drop to 21–22°C, which is 5–7°C below seasonal averages, with a clear chill during the night and early morning.
Rainfall is expected in some areas, especially northwestern Syria, where heavy rain may trigger high flood risks on Monday.
Jordan
Mild autumn weather prevails, tending toward cool conditions at night. Daytime temperatures remain in the twenties, dropping to around 15°C at night in mountains and open plains. Scattered clouds appear at various altitudes at times, and nighttime humidity increases, sustaining the “dew” phenomenon. Winds are northwesterly to westerly, becoming active during the afternoon.
Autumn winds deepen further by mid and late week starting Monday, with a noticeable drop in temperatures. Weather becomes generally cool and cold at night and early morning, with temperatures around 12–14°C.
Scattered showers are expected mid and late week in limited parts of northern and central Jordan, with better chances toward the end of the week.
Syria
Mild autumn weather prevails, tending toward warm conditions at midday in inland areas and Damascus. Temperatures remain below seasonal averages. Heavy local thunderstorms are expected along the Syrian coast and the northwestern highlands.
Syria is affected by deeper, colder‑than‑usual autumn winds, with daytime temperatures dropping below 30°C across most regions. Heavy rainfall is expected in northwestern Syria and coastal areas with high flood risks on Monday.
Scattered showers are possible across various regions mid and late week, with a noticeable nighttime and early‑morning chill.
Palestine
Generally mild autumn weather, humid along coastal and near‑coastal areas, and slightly cold at night and early morning with occasional wind activity and cloud cover.
Temperatures drop significantly mid and late week, with scattered showers expected, especially along the coast and northern Palestine. Nighttime chill increases, with temperatures reaching 15°C on some mountain peaks.
Lebanon
Autumn weather remains mild overall and humid along the coast. Conditions are slightly cold to cold in the mountains with active winds and cloud cover. Thunderstorms are expected along coastal and mountainous areas.
Heavy rainfall is expected mid and late week at intervals across some coastal, mountainous, and plain regions, with flood risks due to deeper, colder autumn winds affecting the area.
Iraq
Weather remains generally hot, but temperatures drop significantly next week with the arrival of autumn air masses. Daytime temperatures fall below 40°C in many regions, while nighttime weather becomes mild and tends toward cool conditions in some areas.
Weather fluctuations are expected to begin, especially in western Iraq, with thunderstorms likely toward the end of next week—marking the beginning of heavier rainy systems.
