WASM- The WASM Regional Center issues a long-range weather bulletin for the first half of October for the Arab region using data from our developed climate model, the only one of its kind in the Arab region, specialized in long-range forecasts with main operation dated 25-9-2025.
The issued data indicates the continued dominance of a strong high-pressure system over most of Europe except the far western and far northern parts, which are exposed to strong Atlantic storms, but they will be further away than usual compared to this time due to changes in the nature of the jet stream.
The map also shows significant weakening of the subtropical jet stream from the eastern Atlantic region and increases in weakness toward the central and eastern Mediterranean, causing the formation of a strong storm in the central Mediterranean regions.

Forecasts|
- The central Mediterranean regions and even the eastern parts are expected, God willing, to experience more heavy rainfall during the first half of the month.
- Weather disturbances renew over the Levant, Jordan, and Egypt during the end of the first week of the month and intensify mid-month.
- The Arabian Peninsula and Iraq are expected to witness the first light to moderate rainfall cases around mid-month.
- A slow-moving tropical wave in the Arabian Sea due to the rotational nature of the atmosphere.
- Very cold polar waves toward the north of the Balkans, southeastern Europe, and the Black Sea region.
- Drier conditions toward northwestern Algeria and northern Morocco with weather disturbances on the Atlantic-facing coasts of Morocco.
- Heavy rainfall at intervals toward Tunisia, eastern Algeria, and northern Libya.
These are long-range forecasts and subject to change, therefore it is always recommended to follow daily weather bulletins that provide more accurate and stable results.
The center issues this type of bulletin once a week every Monday, and issues more accurate results every Thursday for specific cities including the capital Amman and will soon issue them for Riyadh and Kuwait.
