WASM - Rain extends toward the central regions of Jordan
coinciding with intensifying cold weather and active cold winds at times. These rains are sometimes heavy and coincide with thunderstorms occurring in the northern regions of the kingdom.
Rainfall in the northern regions of the kingdom over the past two days has been heavy at times and extended to parts of central areas of the country. It is expected to extend widely to cover central Jordan regions and parts of the southern highlands of the kingdom.
Cold weather intensifies Friday evening with a noticeable temperature drop, making conditions very cold. Temperatures are expected to drop to around 3 degrees Celsius in the capital Amman at dawn on Saturday.
Weather Saturday remains cold, humid, and partly cloudy with scattered light rain showers falling in different parts of the kingdom. Temperatures rise on Sunday with local cumulus clouds forming in limited areas resulting in limited rain showers.
Temperatures rise on Monday and Tuesday with warm conditions returning, then dropping at the end of the week as cold and rainy weather renews in many regions of the kingdom.
Weather fluctuations are expected to continue in the coming weeks, resulting in strong winds, significant temperature variations, and sudden heavy thunderous rains.
