Weather Alert | Thunderstorms Resume Across Various Regions of the Kingdom Tomorrow Sunday with Flood Risks

Alert - Thunderstorms are renewing in the form of heavy thundershowers occasionally across various regions of the Kingdom, particularly in the central and northeastern areas of the country, during the afternoon until evening on Sunday.

A low-pressure system is forming over northern Saudi Arabia and bringing heavy rainfall to those areas. These rains extend in the form of heavy showers towards various regions of the Kingdom. Due to high rainfall rates in some areas, attention must be paid to the formation of sudden floods.

The alert system issues an orange alert level for the expected conditions tomorrow, Sunday, especially in the northeast of the Kingdom, the eastern desert, and also the central region of the country.

A Warm Spring Wave|
Gradually, and during the daytime on Tuesday, a warm spring wave is expected to move into the Kingdom, which is considered the first of this season after winter. Temperatures will rise to the twenties in the capital and mountains, which is suitable for planting summer crops.

This warm spring wave will later coincide with heavy spring thunderstorms from the beginning of next week, especially with expectations of very cold air in the upper and middle layers of the atmosphere while warm conditions continue in the surface layers.

These details will be issued gradually and as the time period approaches and based on any changes that may occur in the weather conditions.
